Where does your ship dock in Toulon?
Toulon has two cruise terminals, and both are docking terminals. The Toulon Côte d’Azur Passenger Terminal is right in the city center and takes ships up to 290 meters. The La Seyne-sur-Mer cruise terminal, across the harbor, is built for cruise ships and takes the largest, up to 340 meters.
Wherever your ship docks, your guide meets you at the terminal and the van is waiting, so your day starts the moment you step ashore.
What can we see on a Toulon shore excursion?

- Toulon’s Old Town and market: the Provençal market of the Cours Lafayette and the harbor front.
- Bandol: the seaside town at the heart of one of Provence’s great wine regions.
- Le Castellet: a perched medieval village above the Bandol vineyards.

- Porquerolles: the island of beaches and pine woods, by ferry from the Giens peninsula.
Toulon shore excursion ideas
- Bandol wine country. Bandol, Le Castellet and Sanary-sur-Mer, with a long lunch among the vineyards.
- Toulon and Mount Faron. The cable car to the summit, then the market and the Old Town.
- Cassis and the coast. The port of Cassis and the cliffs above the Calanques.
- Porquerolles. On a longer call, a drive to the Giens peninsula and the short ferry to the island.
The secret spots around Toulon
Toulon is a calmer port of call than the Riviera’s famous names, and the villages around it see far fewer visitors. The lanes of Le Castellet, the small harbors between Bandol and Sanary and the viewpoints of Mount Faron are where your guide will take you.
Staying in the Var?
We also collect guests from hotels and private villas in Toulon, Bandol, Hyères and across the Var and Provence, and return you to your door.
Why choose a private Toulon shore excursion?
- Local experts. Exclusively local French guides with more than 15 years of experience, never seasonal drivers from abroad.
- Your party alone. Our luxury 8-seater van with Wi-Fi, water and air conditioning, or on foot as a walking tour. Another car is possible on request.
- No wasted minutes. No stop-and-go, no tourist traps and no commission stops, and no perfume or chocolate factory or olive mill unless you ask for one.
- Proven. More than 300 five-star reviews on Tripadvisor, and discretion is part of everything we do.
