French Riviera Private Tours: Your Questions Answered

Before you book, here are the answers to what our guests ask us most. If you have a question that is not covered here, please reach out directly. We are always happy to talk.

What is included in a private tour with Riviera Come True?

Every tour includes your personal expert guide, a luxury private vehicle with a professional driver, and an itinerary built specifically around your group. We arrange hotel and port pickups, plan every stop in advance, and handle all logistics before your day begins. And while we prepare everything carefully, the day belongs entirely to you. If you want to linger somewhere longer, change course, or discover something unexpected, we adapt without hesitation.

How much does a private tour on the French Riviera cost?

Every itinerary is tailored, so every quote is personalised. The price reflects the duration, number of guests, destinations, and any specific experiences you want included. We do not publish fixed rates because we do not offer fixed tours. To receive a quote, simply use our contact form and we will reply within 24 hours.

What areas and destinations do you cover?

We cover the entire Côte d’Azur and its extraordinary surrounding region. Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes, Eze, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Menton, Cap Ferrat, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Grasse, the hilltop villages of the arrière-pays, Provence, and the lavender fields are all part of what we offer. If you have a destination in mind that is not listed here, ask us. Our answer will almost always be yes.

Can you arrange shore excursions for cruise ship passengers?

Yes, and it is one of our most popular services. We meet you at the port in Nice, Villefranche-sur-Mer, or Cannes and return you in time for your ship’s departure. Everything is timed carefully and communicated clearly so you can relax and enjoy the day without watching the clock. We have never missed a ship and we do not intend to start.

How far in advance should I book?

For the summer months, particularly July and August, we recommend booking at least four to six weeks in advance. For spring and autumn travel, two to three weeks is usually comfortable. That said, we sometimes have availability at shorter notice, so it is always worth asking even if your trip is soon. The sooner we connect, the more we can prepare something truly exceptional for you.

Are your tours available in languages other than English?

Our guides work in fluent English and French. If you would prefer your tour in another language, please mention it when you reach out and we will confirm what is available for your dates.

What type of vehicles do you use?

We use premium, air-conditioned private vehicles matched to your group size. Couples and small families travel in luxury sedans. Groups of up to eight guests travel in spacious, comfortable premium minivans. Every vehicle is well-maintained and driven by a professional, discreet chauffeur who treats every journey with care.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements and restaurant reservations?

Absolutely. Please mention any dietary needs or preferences when you get in touch and we will take care of everything. We work with a curated selection of restaurants across the Riviera and can arrange reservations that suit your tastes, your pace, and the spirit of each destination.

Is the French Riviera worth visiting outside of summer?

In many ways, it is even better. Spring brings mimosa and wildflowers, warm light, and virtually no crowds. Autumn is golden, quiet, and ideal for the villages and the interior. Winter on the Côte d’Azur means clear skies, empty roads, truffle season in the hills, and the kind of unhurried access to everything that summer simply cannot offer. Our guides love showing guests the Riviera when it belongs to itself again.
