Your private Bellet wine tour is a full day from Nice, back around 4:30 pm, or a half day that ends before lunch. We pick you up at your hotel, villa or cruise port. Your group of up to 8 travels in a private van with a driver guide, so everyone can taste. Visits are by appointment, and tastings are paid directly at each estate. Lunch is not included. Tour Highlights:
Château de Crémat: Leave Nice in the morning and climb into the Bellet hills, one of the smallest wine appellations in France. The drive from central Nice takes about 20 minutes. The first visit is Château de Crémat, with its cellars and a tasting of Bellet wines, by appointment.
Château de Bellet: Late morning, continue to Château de Bellet, where the guided visit ends with a tasting in the old chapel among the vines. Its grapes include Rolle, Braquet and Folle Noire, typical of Bellet. For a half day, we drive you back to Nice after this visit.
Lunch in Colomars: On the full day, stop for an optional lunch at Auberge du Rédier in the village of Colomars, closed on Mondays, or at another table of your choice. The full day with lunch runs from Tuesday to Saturday.
Domaine de la Source: In the afternoon, visit Domaine de la Source, a family estate in the Bellet hills run by the Dalmasso family and farmed organically, for a last tasting. Then drive back down to Nice, arriving around 4:30 pm.
